Unsolicited comments about starting a community-based LEAD program...

It was nice to see from our point of view that our
son wanted to come back after being totally against the idea prior
to attending.

Thanks for putting this together. It was sort of an eye opener.

Now I have to read all of those wonderful hand outs, and bone-up on the behavior plan before  I meet with my son's new team!

I certainly learned a lot regarding additional resources to help get me through my kids next IEP meetings.  Your knowledge and ideas should put many to shame for not knowing as much.

I was not in the room for the kids break-out sessions, but I assume that they learned a lot also.  My son started babbling about "Attention Deficit" that night, but did not want me to hear him.  He has never used that formal term before.  In the past he has just cursed his ADD.  Using appropriate language is a great first step for him!  Thank you for making that happen.

Knowledge is power!!
